Description
These stools are designed and constructed by the Songye People of the Republic of Congo. The simple elegance of this chair enhances its sculptural quality as a functional art work. It is marked by a rich, dark brown patina with no signs of indigenous repairs. This chair is hand carved from a single, hardwood block.
