Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

A commitment to discretion, care and the relationships behind exceptional design.

01  Our commitment to privacy

At NOA Living, the relationships we build are as meaningful as the objects we create and curate. We respect the privacy of our clients, design professionals, collectors, artisans and visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how Mongoose LLC, doing business as NOA Living (“NOA Living,” “we,” “our” or “us”), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in connection with our website, showroom, purchases, design consultations, trade program, bespoke commissions, events and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to information collected online and offline, except where a separate notice is provided. We seek to collect only information reasonably relevant to a genuine business purpose, to explain our practices clearly and to give individuals meaningful choices. This Policy is not a guarantee of absolute security or confidentiality.

02  Who is responsible

The business responsible for the Services is Mongoose LLC d/b/a NOA Living, Burlington, North Carolina, United States. Privacy questions and rights requests may be directed to privacy@noaliving.com or by post to 423 Lakeside Avenue, Suite 100, Burlington, NC 27217. Where another company independently decides how it uses information—for example, an external payment provider—its own privacy policy also applies.

03  Information we may collect

Depending on the way you interact with us, we may collect: (a) identifying and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, company and professional credentials; (b) commercial records such as inquiries, quotations, purchases, invoices, payment status, order histories, delivery instructions, returns and service correspondence; (c) design information voluntarily provided for a consultation or bespoke project, including measurements, floor plans, room photographs, furnishing preferences, custom artwork, material selections and correspondence; (d) trade-account information including business or resale credentials, references and credit-related information when a credit facility is requested; (e) payment information needed to complete a transaction, processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store full payment-card numbers on our systems; (f) preferences concerning collections, events and marketing; (g) technical and usage information such as IP address, device and browser characteristics, site navigation, approximate location derived from IP and cookie identifiers, where collected by our systems or configured vendors; and (h) any other information you choose to share when contacting us. We ask you not to submit sensitive personal information unless specifically necessary and requested. If you provide another person’s information, please ensure you have authority to do so.

04  How information is collected

We may receive information directly from you through checkout, forms, accounts, communications, showroom visits, consultations and events; from authorized design professionals or other representatives acting for you; from payment, delivery or business-verification providers; and automatically through website technologies where enabled. The cookies and similar technologies we use are described in Section 10.

05  How we use information

We use personal information, as appropriate, to respond to inquiries; create quotations; administer purchases and payments; manage professional accounts; develop and deliver custom designs; coordinate production and shipments; provide care, repair and after-sales support; establish and maintain client relationships; organize events where requested; communicate important service notices; maintain accurate financial and tax records; prevent fraud and misuse; secure and improve our website and Services; comply with legal obligations; and send marketing where permitted. We may use purchase histories or design preferences to make service more relevant, and any such personalization follows applicable consent and opt-out requirements. We do not require marketing consent as a condition of purchasing a product.

06  Design consultations and private projects

Architectural drawings, images of private interiors, room dimensions, personal collections and other materials entrusted to NOA Living for design work are treated as project information. We use such materials to assess suitability, develop proposals, coordinate with authorized professionals and fulfill the commission. We share them only with personnel and service providers who reasonably need access. NOA Living will seek separate permission before publishing identifiable images of a client’s private residence or using a client-specific project as a public case study, unless another lawful basis clearly applies. Project files may be retained for continuity, provenance, warranty support or legitimate business and legal needs.

07  When information is shared

We may disclose appropriate information to payment processors; web-hosting, e-commerce and IT providers; professional advisers; logistics firms and delivery installers; manufacturers, workshops and artisans responsible for a commission; marketing, communications and customer-service providers where engaged; trade credit-verification partners where requested; and government or legal authorities when required. Each recipient receives only information reasonably relevant to its role. Some providers independently control the information they receive. We may also disclose information in a business reorganization or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards and notices. Our website also uses analytics and advertising technologies from Google and Meta, which may receive information about your use of the site, as described in Section 10. NOA Living does not authorize external partners to use client drawings or project materials for unrelated promotion without appropriate permission.

08  Payments and trade credit

Online card payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, are processed by Stripe. NOA Living does not store full payment-card numbers; we retain transaction confirmations and limited payment details needed for our records. Applicants for commercial credit may be asked for references or other financial information relevant to underwriting and collection. Such information is used only for legitimate commercial-account administration, legal obligations and authorized verification.

09  Communications and marketing

We may send order confirmations, appointments, delivery notices, service updates and other communications necessary to our relationship. Promotional messages about collections, exhibitions, ateliers, events and editorial content will be sent in accordance with applicable law and your preferences. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message or contact us at privacy@noaliving.com. An unsubscribe request will not prevent essential transactional messages. We do not send promotional text messages without your separate consent.

10  Cookies and similar technologies

Our website may use strictly necessary cookies to support functions such as shopping carts, account sessions and security. Our website also uses analytics and advertising technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, to understand how visitors use the site, remember preferences and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Where legally required, we will obtain consent before using nonessential cookies, provide an accessible way to change choices and honor recognized opt-out preference signals where applicable. Browser settings can also restrict cookies, though some site functions may be affected. You can also manage advertising preferences through your Google and Meta account settings.

11  Retention and disposal

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, including fulfillment, accounting and tax compliance, warranty and provenance records, dispute resolution, security and legally required preservation. Retention depends on the category of information, the relationship, regulatory duties and whether a dispute or investigation is pending. We aim to delete, de-identify or securely dispose of information when no longer required.

12  Security

We maintain administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, secure handling, system updates and service-provider oversight. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe an account or communication involving NOA Living has been compromised, please contact privacy@noaliving.com.

13  International projects and transfers

NOA Living works with international workshops and professional partners. Information necessary to produce or deliver a commission may be accessed or processed outside the state or country where it was collected. Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use an appropriate legal mechanism. Client information shared with a production atelier is limited to what is needed for the assignment; in many cases, specifications can be transmitted without unnecessary personal identifiers or interior photographs.

14  Your privacy choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, and an appeal if a privacy request is denied. Some jurisdictions also provide rights to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale or sharing of personal information, or specified profiling. We will evaluate requests under the laws that apply to NOA Living and the individual. To make a request, write to privacy@noaliving.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need reasonably necessary information to verify your identity or authority. We will not discriminate unlawfully for exercising privacy rights. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to required verification. If local law grants a right to complain to a regulator, you may exercise that right.

15  Additional notices for certain U.S. residents

Residents of California and certain other states may have additional privacy rights under their state’s law, where that law applies to NOA Living. Where required, we will provide a state-specific privacy notice and a “Your Privacy Choices” mechanism, including honoring Global Privacy Control signals where applicable. To exercise a state privacy right, contact us as described in Section 14.

16  Visitors outside the United States

Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or other jurisdictions may be entitled to additional notices concerning lawful bases for processing, international transfers, retention, local representatives and supervisory-authority complaints, depending on whether their laws apply to our activities. Where those laws apply, we will provide the required information, including the lawful basis for processing and the safeguards used for international transfers, on request or through a jurisdiction-specific addendum.

17  Children

Our Services are intended for adult clients and design professionals, not for children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child has supplied personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate steps. Additional age-based requirements may apply to certain tracking, marketing and data disclosures.

18  External websites and social platforms

Our site may link to third-party websites, social networks and payment or booking services. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage visitors to review those notices before providing information. Embedded content and social-media tools may collect information depending on their configuration and your settings.

19  Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal or technological changes. We will post a revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice or seek consent when required by law. Material changes will not be retroactively applied in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
